• Interpret and understand the images you upload

• Surface images in search 

• Automatically generate descriptive titles for images you've saved

• Support OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract text from images

Looking for that photo of recent books you've read? Just search Mem for "startup book". 

Using a combination of image recognition and semantic search, Mem will always help you find what you're looking for, whether you're using exact keywords or just describing the image.

Forgot to give your image a title? Mem will automatically generate a descriptive title for your notes that only contain images, so you never lose context on what you've saved. 

Current Limitations

• Chat does not have an awareness of your images

• Mem will not interpret images exceeding 20MB in size, copyrighted material, or explicit content

• On the Mem iOS app: 

  • When searching for an image, it may take up to a minute for the note to appear in search results

  • Auto-titles do not appear

  • The image understanding icon (the ✨ icon) does not appear when uploading an image to a note, although the image's contents are being understood
