Mem 2.0 Dev Update #8: What Alpha Testers Love about Mem 2.0
It’s been 2 months since we kicked off the Mem 2.0 private Alpha testing program, and we’ve been rapidly iterating on the new and improved version of Mem based on the invaluable feedback we’ve received from our community.
We’ve consistently shipped bug fixes, usability improvements, and feature refinements every single day since the Alpha launch, and we’re looking forward to sharing Mem 2.0 with more of you soon.
In the meantime, in this update, we’re sharing what members of our Mem 2.0 Alpha testing cohort are most excited about in Mem 2.0, coming later this year.

Mem 2.0 is blowing my mind. It's fast, incredibly smart, and a joy to look at. The improvements have been so great and come so fast that I can't wait for it to get out of Alpha. It’s a dream. Seriously. I can’t tell you how impressed I am.

As someone who’s always on-the-go, the redesigned Mem 2.0 iOS app has made accessing and using my notes so effortless. The entire experience is smooth, and I love that I can create a note or search for something I need even if I’m not connected to the internet. Best of all, I can now access and manage my Collections on the iOS app, making it super easy for me to stay organized.
Robin Dieker
Technology consultant
Mem 2.0 is a huge level up from Mem 1.0, which was already an incredible tool for managing my knowledge. The new experience is very snappy. The Mac app is lightning-fast and lets me access exactly the information I need in an instant, whether it’s all the notes in my knowledge base or just specific sources. Chat is sharper and more intuitive than ever. Cross-platform sync has been seamless (I accidentally opened up Chat on the iOS app and on the web app at the same time, and my Chat messages instantly synced). My knowledge is always right where I need it, on any device.

The new note editor has made my workflow so much easier, especially since fast capture is a huge priority for me. Markdown shortcuts work perfectly, and I can even copy-paste seamlessly from Excel because the editor now supports tables.
This wraps up our eighth installment of Mem 2.0 development updates, where we share the details on what to expect when Mem 2.0 arrives later this year.
