Mem 2.0 Dev Update #4: Brand New iOS App

This week, we’re sharing a deep dive on the new and improved Mem 2.0 iOS app, coming later this year, that's been redesigned from the ground up with a whole new look and feel.

Here's what's coming in Mem 2.0 for iOS:

1. A new look: light mode and better navigation
The Mem 2.0 iOS app will launch with a brand new look: light mode. We’ve also updated the overall UI to make navigation even more intuitive, with a new bottom tab bar that gives you quick access to your notes, collections, search, and chat. We’ve redesigned the app to make every interaction feel smoother and snappier.

2. Collections
Collections are coming to the iOS app. Soon, you’ll be able to view, manage, and create collections on the go using a brand new collections page on the home screen, plus quickly add mems to your collections. This way, Mem will help you stay organized in a consistent way on both web and iOS.

3. Rock-solid sync between iOS and web
To become the fastest and most reliable note-taking app available, we knew that we needed to ensure rock-solid cross device syncing, so that every note you create on iOS appears instantaneously on the web app, and vice versa. To do this, we invented and built a brand-new data syncing engine from the ground up (we’ll share details on how we did it in our next deep dive).

4. Full offline support
You can rest assured that your notes will be saved regardless of your internet connection, and synced to the cloud next time you’re online. You’ll also be able to search your notes instantly, even while offline.
