To make that happen, we’ve been hard at work on Mem 2.0: an entirely rebuilt version of Mem that incorporates the feedback we’ve heard over the past year.

Mem 2.0 will bring you the speed, simplicity, and dependability of your OS’s notes app, with AI organization that actually works, and sharing that doesn’t suck. Until now, people have had to choose between rock-solid reliability, cutting-edge AI assistance, or seamless collaboration—we don’t think it needs to be that way.

What Mem 2.0 means for you

Mem 2.0 is the successor all of our product platforms and versions—we'll be deprecating Mem 1.0 later this year. We've released Mem 2.0 for Web, Mac, and iOS so far.

While in the Alpha phase, Mem 2.0 is free to use. We will announce paid plans later this year.

What’s in Mem 2.0

Mem 2.0 has been rebuilt from the ground up. In doing so, we’ve eliminated all of the bugginess that has accumulated over time in the existing product. Beyond that, there are five key areas we’ve made major improvements to:

The note editor. The editor—the heart of any note taking experience—is smoother than ever, featuring seamless copy & paste and brand new functionality such as tables.
Our AI. Chat, Search, and Related Notes have all received major upgrades. Chat has a deep understanding of time ("meetings from last week"), Search results are more relevant and comprehensive than ever, and Related Notes have been renamed Copilot, with the biggest relevance quality improvement since we originally launched it in 2022.
Sharing. We’ve brought the same fast and easy sharing we support on notes today to collections in the form of Shared Collections.
The iOS app. The iOS app has full feature parity with the web and desktop apps, including the ability to manage and use collections on the go.
Speed & Dependability. The Mem 2.0 architecture was built with full offline support for iOS, web, and desktop from the start. You can create, edit, and search your notes instantly, whether you’re underground in the subway or 30,000 feet up in the air.
